It's a shame I'm not local; I wouldn't mind being there for that.

May have a slight change of plans... seems the Crysis server I rented for the event is under a DDOS attack and has been down for 2 days. Since they can't really promise it will not be down on Saturday when I need it I am thinking about dusting off the COD4 as a backup plan. Anyone foresee a problem with that?

Why not use 50% StarCraft / 50% COD4?

So I can confirm I will be there for part of the day as an "official" member of the press. Not going to participate in gaming though.

I have no problems with anything, I have no clue what COD4 is aside from the name and a FPS (I assume).

The option suggested by Sky is also very interesting, but I hope he means SC2 :p

Even the original one would be cool at a retro "flashback" game that literally everyone and their parents played at some point. Plus, I think it might actually even the playing field somewhat and the SC servers are still very active....and likely less expensive to rent.

I like Sky suggestion, something for everyone, SC2 would be great.

SC BW would be interesting.
