I hope to see you there Sky. Always nice to meet reviewers.

Oh, and I added a online payment link in my first post. Turns out no one wants to actually have to go to a store to buy a ticket. ;)

Another little tidbit of info to entice people to pre-register. The prize for the special draw for those first twenty people is valued at nearly $200. ;)

$5 now for a 1 in 20 chance to win a cool prize isn't so bad ;)

Bwah! I DO know you. Gotta be either J, P or T....

1Ghz easy OC with temps never above 70. 'Tis awesome! I just hope the machines at this event are decent as well! haha

LOL love to keep you guessing CMetaphor.

As for the machines, the LAN center is running Phenom X4's and current gen i5's (2400's and 2600's). Graphic cards are all mainstream decent cards (think 460s and equiv). The actual tourney machines are being sent to me next week by a sponsor and from my understanding are all high end gaming rigs. If they are not what they claim to be, then I will make them so. I will NOT have poopy machines at my event.

Sadly unless I see some people signing up over the weekend there may not be an event. Tell your friends! Get them to come! There will be punch and pie! :)

I forgot to mention. MB is building a pretty crazy demo system to show off at the event. OC'd 980x ( I know, 990X is faster, but its all I could get a hold of) with OC'd SLI GTX570s in a custom dual WC loop. It should be snazzy, its built off of Gigabytes X58OC board. I think we will be allowing people to play with the system to see how high they can get the CPU clock. Maybe we will throw in a prize for the person with the highest stable clock speed too... (some supervision required, I suppose. Don't want people overvolting the hell out of the system and killing it. lol) That sounds like it could be fun to do. Any thoughts?

I think you might be thinking of another LAN center in that area. The owners of Gamers Vault are not polish to my knowledge.
