Holy crap, at Aug 5th-6th it's almost a year away! Though if enough people from HWC is planning to go, I'm sure I can smuggle myself over there for a few days speaking of which, I'm so scouting out that TF2 5 vs 5...I demand a HWC clan for TF2!

Agreed! TF2 Tourney there, that would be awesome! I am going to be volunteering in the Event, and if there is anyone else interested, hit up the forums. We will be having a dinner to talk about the event in mid-Janurary. Stay posted!

Ugh, if it's expensive then I might have to sit it out...considering I'll be having to buy a flight and room! But if it's not...once again...I demand us to make a TF2 5 man team!

...

Actually...I demand us to make a TF2 5 man team even if we won't be going xD

Yeah I found it on the site. It's $65 AND you have to leave for the night and find a hotel to stay in, and you're also not allowed to bring in food, so you'll be eating out

$65 is alot, but the money more than likely is for the large Prize pot, and from the look of things, this appears to be a large competitive event, and not just a social event. I'm willing to pay the money, better than spending that same amount at a bar and feeling like crap the next morning! As for people who would need to fly out, why not work out some sort of living arrangements with us that live in the area? I have a couch or 2. I'm sure there are many other people too.

To each their own I guess. Just seems like a lot of money and hassle for a LAN.

That and it's easy for you to say... If you're helping organize, you are probably not paying the admission fee....
