Hey all
Zero PING Events is at it again with another large LAN party north of Toronto. Various cash prize tournaments including CS 1.6, Source, TF 2, COD:MW2, Quake Live and DotA so far. Other hardware prizes to be won too. Doors open on Friday June 18th at lunchtime and don't close until Sunday June 20th at lunch for 48 hours of non-stop LAN action. We've got sufficient power and space for up to 300 people to attend with computers. Ample space on site for those who wish to avoid hotel costs and sleep at the event. Various food and drinks including Bawls and other energy drinks will be on sale at the event.
Cost of the event is $30 prepay or $40 at the door. Cash tournaments have a tournament entry fee of $20 that is contributed towards that tournament's pot. At 24 teams a 5vs5 tournament would have ~$1371/$685/$342 for 1st/2nd/3rd respectively. The prize pot is simply divided up in a ratio of 1:0.5:0.25 and awarded to the top three teams, thus the more teams the higher the pot and the more money to be won.
