I am organizing a get-together for all geeks at a pub in Windsor, Ontario. The plan is good beer, good food, and good technology conversation.

Please respond to this thread if interested. Aiming for a late July, early August event.

How far away is Windsor? lol... :thumb:

Its in southern ontario, i live in hamilton(45 min west of toronto) and it takes a couple hours drive... at least i think so, it borders detroit at our southerly neighbours.

it's approx 9hrs from ottawa :biggrin:. I'll have a keiths by proxy:biggrin:

Windsor? I hate driving though/past Toronto to get to places on the west end

I'd love to drive down there for this.... But, not so much anymore if it consumes two tanks of petrol for my car.

I can't pay for your gas... but I will sponsor some of the drinks and food.

Evening of August 1st seems the best. Saving $1/day from now until then pays for gas from Toronto!

if it's 2 from brampton imagine what it is from ottawa or montreal :sad:

Shoot I wish it wasn"t so far:angry2:,almost a 4 hour drive for me.

After much deliberation I have decided to move this event to Oakville. I will begin an attendance list in a couple weeks once the details are worked out.
