It's been a while but I'll look into having a lan at a venue here in calgary at some point in the new year. I find the winter lans (providing good driving weather) tend to be the best due to all the heat computers generate. Lanified is coming up soon on Dec 4th in the southland area. I'm gonna check it out and see how they run the show.

Drinking beer is the key.

In Calgary as well, when not out in the patch working.... My rigs are all too big/heavy to take to a LAN anyways :(

mine is heavy and brutal to move around... but I do it anyway. I can be lan ready in 10 minutes.

Sorry to be a prickley bear, but we had to reschedule. Our coming event has moved to March. Sorry :(

However I am having a private LAN at my place open to those who were aiming to come to the hall lan the same weekend. Starts Friday whenever goes till Monday whenever. Dec 4-7. PM me if you're interested.

I might be able to head up in March, and hopefully I'll have saved up enough money to get my water cooling going. Now, on the other hand, I would need to take a good 8-10 hour bus ride with an expensive, heavy computer (The Obsidian 800D weighs 40 odd pounds with nothing in it...).
