Ah good to hear from you fratch. Shit man; this was a busy weekend for lanning Canada-wide. We had parties in Calgary, Thunder Bay and Chilliwack this weekend. This last month our lan party listing was bursting at the seams with more upcoming Canadian events than lanparty.com has ever hosted at any one time. After this weekend it's going to look pretty bare though, haha.

Anyways, business as usual over here. More affiliations, some sponsorship stuff I should probably deal with, our regular tea and tech talks about how AMD's buyout of ATI is sinking the AMD ship, and waiting on Expression Engine 2.0. (If anyone from EllisLab reads this, HURRY UP! I WANT TO USE AND SHOWCASE YOUR DAMNED SOFTWARE! Send me a preview copy or something!!)

CapLAN is the longest running lanparty in Vancouver. Its a frequent casual lan hosted at Capilano University.

Awesome! not to complain or anything but any chance of it running longer? like 12pm-12pm? Just seems like a lot of setup effort for a short event.

But I'm happy with a lan fullstop :)
