LF 478 P4 processor in Winnipeg
 

I saw the Celeron and realized that maybe someone still has one laying around in Winnipeg. I don't think it is worth getting one from away, shipping will likely be close to the cost of the chip. Anyone in Winnipeg have an old chip they would part with?

Reason? My old old computer, P4T-E MB with 512 MB of RDRAM (I was an early, and wrong, adopter!) will not post. I replaced the PSU and same problem, so it is either MB or CPU I think. A cheap CPU will eliminate that and fix it or leave me with a bad MB and RAM I can't use anywhere else!

Thanks for the offers guys, but I have a feeling the shipping would cost as much as the chip. I am hoping to find a local source but I will keep the offers in mind.

Will ask around the shop at work, I know some of the guys I work with have had celerons in the past...will let you know...
