Default Review Units FS. Gigabyte HD 7970 OC & XFX HD 7970 Black Edition DD

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR CONTRIBUTING. ON JAN 8th A LUMP SUM-CHEQUE HAS BEEN SENT TO THE CHSF FOR AN AMOUNT OF $2811 PLUS MY OWN DONATION. THE MONEY COUNTER WILL NOW BE SET TO $0 AND BEGUN AGAIN FOR THIS YEAR!!!

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THESE SALES WILL GO TO THE CANADIAN HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION.
Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada - Heart Disease, Stroke and Healthy Living

As some of you have seen (and hopefully read) I am doing reviews for this site on a regular basis. As such, I get components to review on a regular basis; some of which have to be returned to the manufacturer. Some of the ones I get to keep eventually do nothing other than sit around collecting dust so I have decided to begin selling them and turning the profits over to the above-mentioned charity.

All money will be collected into an account I have set up for this purpose and in January 2010, a lump-sum cheque will be sent to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

This thread will be updated regularly with new units as they become available.

ALL ON THIS ITEMS ARE IN LIKE-NEW CONDITION.
PSUs have been tested to be working after the tests but have their warranty stickers removed.

All products unless otherwise specified DO NOT have warranties associated with them. HOWEVER, I will be giving you a 15 day guarantee covering any manufacturing-caused malfunction which may happen. If something does happen, you pay shipping back to me. If the product is found to be without defects and in working order, it will be returned to you and no money will be refunded.

This gives you guys a GREAT opportunity to buy like-new components for great prices.

Payment Methods:
EMT (Preferred)
Cash in Person
Hyperwallet

NO OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shipping:
All packages are shipped insured through Canada Post Exedited Parcels or Expresspost.

Note that shipping to remote locations may cost slightly more

Has this been sold yet? I think I might be interested if it's still around.

Not sure what video card yet- probably an 8800GTS 320- overclocked e4300, Asus Commando, one HD- I know that the 600 is plenty for this.

Wow!!!!

Anybody coming into the forums asking about a new build should seriously consider picking this up!!!!!! ($30 + tax & shipping probably comes to at least $40..... $40 strategically redirected can make a big difference to at least one choice of hardware!)
