Default FS: Dell XPS M1730 - T9300 - 4GB DDR2 - 2x 8800M GTX 512MB - 2x200GB 7200RPM - 17" WS

Ok well its time, i've decided to stay in Canada a lot longer than planned so i'm purchasing a desktop (again) so time to offload my beast of a laptop!

This is the latest model M1730 from Dell, comes with 190 odd days remaining on XPS warranty (transferable to new owner).

It will come with the laptop only i'm afraid none of the booklets and crap they sent me originally (as that is back in Aus, if its 'really' an issue I can have it posted over).

Service Tag: J5JPT1S (which you can check here)

This will give you a complete detail of everything installed in the machine.

Major Spec:
  • CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.5Ghz)
  • GPU - Dual 512MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8800M GTX with NVIDIA(R) SLI(TM) Technology
  • RAM - 4GB (2x2GB) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
  • HDD - 2x 200GB SATA 7200RPM Performance Hard Drive (400GB Total)
  • LCD - 17.0" UltraSharp(TM) Widescreen WUXGA (1920x1200) TFT Display with TrueLife(TM)
  • Optical - Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Combination Drive with dual layer write capabilities
Also Includes
  • BlueTooth
  • Wireless N (Intel(R) 4965AGN Wireless-N Mini-Card)
  • Vista Home Premium
  • 9-cell lithium battery / 230Watt power supply
  • Integrated webcam and microphone array (work supsrisingly well)
  • Heaps of LED lighting features (which can happily be turned off for those not into the bling)
  • Full sized qwerty keyboard with full numpad
  • DVI-HDMI cable
I have de-dell'd this machine so its free of their bloatware.

Here is some pics (if you want 3d Marks etc that can be done no problems).

As for who I am and can you trust me?

I'm ada3k over on Overclockers Australia - Latest OCAU News
I'm the owner/founder of PubGamer so plenty of proof as to my existance, checkout my trades on OCAU although it has been a while.

Happy to meet people anywhere in lower mainland or willing to post if we can come to an agreement.

Located: North Vancouver or UBC (work).

Price: $3100 and she's all yours (OBO if allowed by the rules? not 100% sure).

I paid $3,900 for this machine back in Feb it is in new condition (gotta dust it to keep it nice ).
Note that this system (or just above it T9500 100Mhz higher) is still $3,800 on Dell new.

Keep in mind this comes with the 190 odd Dell warranty also!

I would try and sell something like this on ebay, most people here would build a desktop for gaming and get a cheaper laptop... or if the did game on laptop they probably wouldn't go so high... but good luck!

Good laptop for a good price but there are only a limited amount of buyers here and most are for desktop parts. Try ebay.

Yeah i figured that would be my only option, was just hoping to sell it to someone who would actually use it for more than WoW :S lol.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll be putting it on Ebay on sunday so i'll close this thread then.
