FS: ThinkPad X220 (+ssd/9cell/dock), e8400/P5Q/8GB combo
1: My trusty workhorse x220 is up for sale as i'll be moving back to an actual PC :thumb: Even though this little thing packs serious desktop class performance.
4286CTO base model + upgrades:
CPU: i5 2520 @ 2.5ghz with HD3000 graphics (surprisingly, plays crysis 2 well!)
RAM: 8GB DDR3
SSD: Intel x-25m 160gb
BAT: 9Cell 93Wh; Good condition - 276 cycles in power manager (see pic)
LAN: Centrino Advanced-N 6205. 2x2 antenna
OS: My own Windows 7 Ultimate is currently installed, but the original license for Windows 7 Home Premium is included.
Still easily lasts for 8-9 hours of light use, 4-5 hours of actual work (browsing and excel for analysis). Everything works perfectly, boots in about 20 seconds.
Included: 1 MiniDock Series 3, 1 90W adapter, 1 65W travel adapter ($200 value on used market )
The screen was replaced on the last month of warranty with a noticeably brighter and higher quality IPS; this is the best laptop screen i've ever seen.
Issues: the ThinkPad logo on the wristpad disappeared as you can see in picture, along with all the annoying intel stickers. One screw cover on the screen is also mysteriously missing.
Aside from this, the screen is perfect and there are almost no marks on the case, looks almost new. Was used docked 90% of the time.
Given the added dock which still goes for over $75 all the time, Intel ssd and extra power adapter, I'm asking $650 OBO. Must take both adapters and station. The base x220 without upgrades is selling @700 average on kijiji atm, fyi.
2: Server workhorse combo, consisting of: 1 e8400 (6mb cache, 3ghz), 1 Asus P5Q mobo, 4 x 2Gb Corsair XMS sticks (6400/5-5-5-18). Includes a Zalman Golden Orb cooler. This is possibly the most rock solid combo I've had in 10 years of building, handed down from Soullessone21
Long time no bump, so... bump.
