Thanks for the card man. Got it yesterday! Overclocking my CPU raises my graphics scores so now I know where the bottleneck is :( This thing is a beast. Little disappointed by the lack of accessories but I guess that's Asus. Coming from Ati cards for the last 8 generations, I guess I got spoiled. Thanks again, you going to get a 780?

I'm humming about selling my Asus Matrix Platinum 7970. It's the one from the review here so no warranty, but it works great. If I can get 350 shipped I'd part with it as I want to get a GTX 780.

It should have 3 years warranty, and Asus only needs a serial right?

I was told by the fella I bought it from that there was no warranty for it. I took him at his word. He is a mod here I'd have to look up who it was. I bought a few things here over the last eight months or so. So I forget. But you may be right?

Edit: Found it, it was Arinoth.

Edit#2: I just figured being a review sample it didn't have a warranty because it was not purchased through the normal retail channels. But it does come in a retail package with all accessories.

I would jump on it if the warranty was intact. Seriously, would really want that card. Too big of a risk without.

I wouldn't think so. If it hasn't died yet, I doubt it will. Usually, if a cards gonna go it will be already dead. Just so ya know the only time it's been OC'ed is for the review and when I tested for fun. Has run at it's stock clock 24/7. But she will scream if you slap her.

Edit: Just looked it up. Bought it around the fifth of January. So, just over six months of use. Nary a niggle with it. Save for some bad drivers. I'm using 13.4's right now just finished Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider with it. Flawless.

I do find graphics corruption with it on some drivers, but changing drivers fixed it.

Edit: My CPU is a little on the weak side. But here is a Valley bench I did in February.
