Looking to trade my Supermicro H8DME-2 motherboard combo for a video card (Radeon 7770 or above) or will sell for $150 shipped.

Specs...

Supermicro H8DME-2 motherboard. Supports Istanbul/Shanghai CPUs.
Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Aplus Products | Motherboards | H8DME-2

2 x Opteron 8389 CPU's (8 cores total/2.9Ghz per core)
AMD Third Generation Opteron 8389 - OS8389WHP4DGI / OS8389WHP4DGIWOF

8GB DDR2 800mhz ECC Reg. memory.

2 Socket F coolers.

Currently runs Folding@Home. Produces 20K to 30K PPD (Ubuntu 12.04) depending on WU's assigned.

not really. you can try with RW everything but these quads are already clocked quite high. I have the same mobo but with the 2419s hexacores and I never bothered. I'l probably have to try Linux on it myself as folding under Windows kinda sucks lately.

MCP55 Pro chipset means board is probably overclockable using ntune. For what it's worth, I was able to get my 8393SEs up to 3.6 GHz stable, so Shanghais do have some headroom on stock volts. Of course, the catch with overclocking with ntune is it's Windows only.
