Default Dual Gbps NIC Intel or Broadcom

I need to replace my home server NIC. Don't need something new since its just my home server. If someone has a quad Gbps NIC thats in working order and cheap I would love that, but in reality I am budgeting for a dual.

Sorry I can't use them, current home server is bits and pieces mostly. and I just don't have enough spare slots to stick a bunch of single NICs in. I need at least a dual, as I use NIC aggregation and don't have the space.

I have a HP server grade (intel based) card sitting on desk after I upgraded. Let me check the model number for you when I get home from work. Its Dual set up for nic teaming, etc, or 1 up, 1 down configs.
PM me if you interested?

Amigo, if you can find any of the dell broadcom based nics, they will work for you. I found that the HP cards dont work with every motherboard -I purchased 4 HP cards dual broadcom and they only boot on my cheap ECS Amd Motherboard, other systems ive got wont boot with the card in it.
I like intel cards best. I wish I had a card somewhere for you, Ill check around and see what happens.

Do you need PCI-EXPRESS or PCI-X?
