Default Sound Card

Hi guys. I'm looking to purchase sound card for my PC. I don't really have any preference on a brand or anything. Just looking for an upgrade over my on-board sound to go with my new Corsair headset. Don't really want to spend a lot, so my budget is about $50 or less. Thanks.

Probably your best bet for under $50:

ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 Channel PCI Sound Card 24BIT Dolby Digital DTS 105DB SNR W/ Headphone AMP - ASUS - XONAR DG

Might as well just buy brand new for such low price. It gets excellent reviews all around, including HWC.

Got a few PM's recommending that one as well. Looks like I'll go that road then. Thanks.
