Send a support request in to valve and they will give you one. I sent a request in for fun after seeing it on reddit and they gave me three to hand out to friends Lol.

I don't think there's a key, you have to be invited with your steam account

Games good, bit different then DOTA 1 or LoL (which I still like more), but the upgraded graphics engine is the cats ass.

I got a dota 2 invite yesterday but I can't seem to figure out how to gift it. It doesn't show up in inventory or under 'manage gifts" I'd give it to ya for free if i can figure out how to send it.

Woulda given you mine but I already used it, honestly if you want to try Dota 2 beta, just play Dota and look at Dota 2 screenshots. They are pretty much the exact same game.
