FS - Q6600 Lapped, E8400, 4 GB ReaperX PC28000, 8800 GTX
Ok... so I've got to sell some stuff to make room for my new hardware and my new WC rig.
These are all top of the line parts and all in great condition less than 3 months old.
Just to clarify "shipped" includes Canada. Outside of Canada will incur additional costs.
E8400 Stable at 4.05 GHz 9x450 on 1.31v - $230 Shipped (good overclock on low volts hence the price, plus it's only a couple of week old) NOW $215 shipped - SOLD
Q6600 *lapped* Stable at 3.6 GHz (9x400) at 1.46v (this one is now reserved for a couple of days, but if it doesn't happen, I'll give it to the next in line on here) $250 shipped - NOW $240 Shipped - SOLD
8800 GTX - Can do 626/1500/2000 but usually I just leave it at stock... I'm only selling because CrossfireX 3870 x2's are calling me... $415 Shipped - NOW $400 Shipped - NOW $375 Shipped - $350 Shipped - SOLD
OCZ ReaperX 4GB PC28000 1000MHz - Will do 5-5-5-12 @ 1066 MHz - $140 Shipped - SOLD
That memory is very tempting...
I'll consider it.
wanna trade...? + Cash of course..
What CPU are you buying?
ill buy the ram.
I figure, if I have pretty much the most my mobo can handle, then I'll stop for a while.
Why does the CPU look oxidized? I seen someone selling a lapped CPU once in these forums and it had a mirror finish to it. Why doesn't yours, is it the TIM?
It's not oxidized. We see the reflection of his camera in the cpu. That's a great lapping job. It's a mirror finish
Here's another shot. It's very shiny.
Maybe that's not the best pic up there in the first post because I took it without flash and it's grainy.
It's not a perfect mirror! But it's shiny and, more importantly, flat. I got 2-3 degrees improvement.
