Time to get rid of some goodies publicly


Conditions of Sale:

1) Items are LNIB unless otherwise indicated. I keep all boxes, much to my WAFs chagrin

2) You have five days after reception to confirm item's operation. Everything is tested prior to shipping either formally or through use (ie. if a working pull). Warranty status is descibred in this post. Electronic receipt copies can be provided for all items. If somehow an item failed, and was shipped, I will take care of it

3) I accept PayPal gift(s) EMT, or cold, hard ca$h. I'm in Markham, Ontario and am willing to travel along the 401 westbound to Dixie, or as far east as Oshawa, preferably as far south as the 401.

4) Ship time is generally within 24 hours after payment clearance, OR if it's a Friday night, the item will go out by Sunday afternoon by Canada Post Venture One. I try and double box everything. If it's a monitor and it doesn't get double-boxed a custom extra piece of cardboard will be inserted in packaging to protect the panel.

1) Dell U2410 Revision A07 - LNiB - $250.00 shipped - Warranteed until Spring 2015 (and purchased) from Dell. All original accessories, box, calibration (summary) sheet included

- Great 1920x1200 screen with newer revision, still sells for a fair bit more.
- Calibrated from factory and tested via X-rite I1 Display Pro and NEC MDV sensor to confirm good calibration.
- No dead pixels, scratches or defects, a very slight amount of backlight bleed at the top left which is difficult to notice, and I'm picky.
- Pretty good gaming screen with sRGB mode using the gamer mode hack (select game mode, confirm, then select srGB mode, DON't confirm) to lower input lag.

I got it from Grey Tech (Grey-Tech Computer Inc.) for $698.00 + taxes and environmental BS fee.

At one point another place @ Cendirect - Canada's Online Computer Store had it for $675.00 but I missed that deal. I already had the SpectraView II software/hardware combo so I didn't need it, but the monitor is accurate out-of-the-box.

Right now it's gone back to around $900.00 but keep a watch on the LCD2490WUXI2-BK on Shopbot - Compare prices - Canada - Price Comparison - Comparison Shopping and you should find it again at the lower price.
