That TRUE-CU is killing me even tho I have no use for it, I remember wanting that so bad when it was released. Do you know if they stuck to the only 1000 ever made with that?

Not sure what the production numbers were, but there aren't a lot of them out there.

There were 3000 made worldwide.

I paid in excess of 200$ for mine.

Bloody amazing heatsink ( I've dissapated over 400 watts with mine) , but not easy to use......it's so heavy you need extra support etc...

A better alternative to soldering when making board repairs, is a older style rear window defroster grid repair kit. It uses a lacquer with copper finings in it. you can actually find this material on some electronic component distributer sites. After the repair has cured, the repair can be further protected by covering it with 2 part Epoxy.
