Default Fans. Lots of fans.

Before the PM's roll in about super quiet or flashy lights, I want to be clear that it's not really the idea.

I need fans. 120mm to 200mm. They're for phase changers. Used (in good shape) or new out of a case is fine if you thought they sucked in your case because they were too loud/too ugly/too much airflow etc.

Honestly the louder, higher flow fans are more ideal for me, and I do wiring mods for speed control so starting with high flow and working down is better for me in general.

Ideally, 2-5 bucks a fan would be great. Keeps the projects cheaper, and I have a particular project needing 10 fans by itself, so adding $100 to it isn't what I had in mind.

If you're in Vancouver, one or 2 or three fans is cool and I'm happy to pick up since I'm mobile.

If it's a shipping thing, then it would be better if you had a load of fans built up. I'd be happy to buy 10 or more fans from someone if the price is decent, and shipping a lot of fans doesn't kill the savings like buying one or 2 fans from 5 or 10 people.

The awful orange Thermaltake fans are ideal. Those loud cheap fans from cases you buy and sit on a shelf because they're loud and awful, those are fine too. I make 'em work in refrigerated coolers, and sometimes noise isn't so much an issue on a cooler and louder fans are ok, as long as they work well.

Also, if you're an Audiophile and have cooling racks with 110v fans and looking to sell some, they're handy too.

So basically I'm looking to buy a lot of fans, preferably lots from single persons, so that I end up with a nice big pile of fans and I don't have to go hunting for fans all the time.

So yeah, 120mm and up is the most useful to me, but if you have a bunch of 80mm or 90mm fans I may be interested, if it's a BUNCH of them and the price is really good and especially if it's a local thing.

Sorta makes me sound cheap in a way, but phase change is a hobby as opposed to a business (for me) and scrounging for fans is getting on my nerves and this may be a way to get a bunch and just 'have fans' around again.

If this is weird or out of line, can delete it if necessary. Just irritated by scrounging for fans since I cut my hand digging in a box looking for a fan

Thank you. I welcome your PM's.

Gray
