Hey hey I had a 3870 x2 that still worked flawlessly 2 months ago (sold it), electronics usually have a life of 5-15 years anyways. Depends the build quality.

I may be interested in that ram as it appears they just discontinued it at NCIX just when I wanted to pick up another kit.

Not really any trades I'm looking for just now. The only thing I might consider is a newer video card. Eventually selling my other 4890, looking for a single card GPU solution instead of CF since I want the slots. So say 5800 and up or 470 and up.
