Default 30 inch monitor in good condition

Looking to pick up a 30 inch monitor in decent condition within the next week or two depending on my schedule. Local is preferred (Toronto area) but I can spring for shipping if you have the original box and a decent rate (I have an eshipper account for big packages, you should have something similar).

Let me know what you have, either through PM or in this thread :)

You would be correct. I would like 2560x1600 res.

Well best of luck in the search. I'd highly recommend the U2711 if you can get your hands on one of those. 2560x1400 (16:9) and the pixel pitch is superior to 30" ;)

Default just a warning

I have the Samsung 305t and it has been in on service twice in two years for the power supply. This is a very common problem with this model so if you're looking at the Samsung 30 inch alternative ask to see the monitor idle for 15 minutes. The problems occur once the power supply gets up to temperature so a cold monitor will look fine.

Samsung replaced my monitor with a completely different one the second time I sent it in and this one seems to be working alright...... I have no issues with the picture quality and the 2560x1600 real estate is fantastic but it is all worthless if your monitor will not power up properly.
