Not to thread crap or anything, but there are several different models of wheels.

1) Driving Force GT
2) Driving Force GT Wireless which doesn't include brakes/gas pedals.
3) Driving Force Pro

I hate to suggest it, but check Craigslist, and include the Momo in your search. I've got a set, found a set for $50 on Craiglist in the GVR in 2 minutes.

As far as I am aware there is only 1 GT. Its the Logitech Driving Force GT for PS3, there is no wireless version of it that I am aware of, believe that is of the earlier pro version. The Driving Force Pro is the predecessor to the GT. Been watching craigslist but it seems to be a combination of a sellers market on it and noone is selling the GT. I'm not that interested in the Momo at the moment.

If you can find one, I highly recommend the G25 model steering wheel. It's the closest thing to a real car. I've been having a lot of fun playing GT5, Need for Speed Shift etc. It even works with older ps2 games like need for speed hot pursuit. They are a little more money, but well worth it if you can still find one.

see the thing with the G25 is, as with all pc wheels, are much more expensive. A new gt costs 150 while the g25 is around 300 and right now I'm not willing to pay that much even when you take off the buying used discount. And from what I've heard the gt is comparable

GT mounting system is weak and the wheel slips off the surface if you get even mildly rowdy. MOMO is better by far, especially if you can find the original red setup. I've tried them all and my current setup is the red MOMO. GT is something of a letdown in my book.

I heard that the GT pedals aren't "realistic" like a real vehicle and the force feedback aren't as real/good as the G25.

Hmm, none of the reviews have said anything about the poor mounting system, infact a friend has it has had no issues. As for pedals, yes they are not the best, they just do they job type of thing. I am not willing to pay 200-300 for the G25. Know someone who is willing to sell one to me locally for 100 and I'd buy it but money is an issue as I'm a student so I really dont see it happening. And I've heard that the Force feedback is comparable to the G25 at the very least.
