if you have have a spare ide dvd-rw kicking around i have an external enclosure id let go for a coffee if your in the sault.

I guess IDE or SATA doesn't matter when it's interface is USB. I do have one IDE LG burner lying around. I was hoping for a slim model but I guess those are much slower at READ/WRITE.

no clue what model the enclosure is, its pretty big and heavy so i figured it wasnt worth much. Has a pair of RCA audio jacks out, usb and what not. I think i might have a dvd rom i could throw in it too unless you absolutly need a burner.
