[WTB] Guitar Hero Wired USB Controller

Hey, I'm looking to buy a nice and cheap wired Guitar Hero USB Controller (Usually made for the Xbox 360). I want to play some Guitar Hero on my PC. I believe it's called the X-Plorer guitar, and it looks like this:

I've seen them go for free to about $10 or so around Craigslist and such, so I'll probably be asking for a price around there.

you may want to try ebgames/gamestop They buy used controllers, they tend to have a ton of guitars sitting around

you can also use the wireless versions, if you have and or get one of the microsoft wireless dongles for your pc. It will let you use the wireless 360 controllers, of which the wireless guitars are part of. You can get those dongles off ebay or dx extreme for cheap. I hear they are hard to find in stores now though.

The wireless version for xbox 360 or will wireless for ps2 and other such consoles work?

no just for 360, the others are propriatary

Went down to my local EB Games, they didn't have any used guitars except a couple very poorly taped boxes which were sold for $50 and over.

That's sad that GH3 don't work on Win7. I have my controller guitar laying here becasue of that. Maybe one day I will do a dual boot to XP or vista to play again...GL with your search.

Guitar hero 3 works fine with windows 7, as with xbox 360 controllers and headsets (actually it works right out of the box flawlessly). Ive got it here with an x-plorer guitar and have zero issues.

xscargo stocks them with the game also for 20

i think all the xscargos have it... the one in vancouver does.
