back on topic, i checked last week for another folder, and some dude was selling a gts 512 with wb for 100 bucks i think. if you can crew down the price a bit, say 80, thats very good deal.

I think ill defiitely try my 285 to see if its overkill or not. In metro 2033, there may be a tangible benefit.

After much self-doubt ive wound up back at square one: The offers for GTX260s/275s and up are just plain overkill for PhysX. No matter how I look at it. The search continues...

Cmon people doesnt anyone have GTS250s? 9800GTX+? 9800GTs (especially the passive and/or green variants) would be amazing. Thanks all.

youre telling me you havent gound a 8800/9800gt for real cheap?

man look harder. ive gone tru a few lol. dam things did really well in games, etc but kinda noisy under folding. and i dont mean fannage noisy, i mean whyney bitchy coily noisy :p

thats a good price. saw a couple 4870's 512's for 140 the pair i think. obo? :D but they dont fold/physx
