Default ASUS Maximus III Formula & Crucial 4GB DDR3 & Goodies - LGA1156 Starter Kit

SOLD

Alrighty then, so this is part 2 of 3 of my great Spring sell-off.

This is what I would consider an affordable enthusiast LGA1156 starter kit, especially combined with a quad-core/eight-thread $240 Xeon X3440 processor.

The Maximus II Formula needs no introduction, it's a great enthusiast board. You can read the review here.

Next up are the four Crucial 1GB DDR3-1333 9-9-9 1.5V modules. Everyone who I have sold this memory to over the years loves it, and most importantly I've never had a module fail yet.

Out of the approximately 180ish sticks that I've binned, these are sticks ranked #5 to #8, which is to say they are quite good! Now I only binned them using Memtest86+, not in Windows, but I'm confident they can run a Windows stable DDR3-1333 6-6-6/DDR3-1600 7-7-7/DDR3-1950+ 9-9-9 at between 1.60-1.70Vdimm. Not guaranteeing it though.

Running four 1GB modules doesn't really put any additional strain on the IMC, so it won't limit your memory overclocking (nor BCLK). Two of the modules feature D9JNM ICs, the two others are built with D9KPT. Doesn't make a difference functionality wise.

I'm including a Thermalright MUX-120, which is essentially just a lightened Ultra-120 eXtreme, and it performs about the same as the T.R.U.E. It comes with a Thermalright 1200RPM 23.5DBA 120MM Fan. I'm also including a Thermalright 120MM Fan Holder that I purchased seperately.

To go along with the Republic of Gamers red & black theme, I'm including a few freebies. A Yate Loon D12SL-12 fan, two red 90-degree SATA cables, and an eSATA expansion bracket, which conveniently plugs into the two red SATA ports on the bottom of the board.

The price for the whole kit is $290 + actual shipping. Offers are welcome. Payment by EMT only.

I'm not planning on splitting...unless there are no takers

I had purchased 4 of these crucial sticks from MAC and all I can say about them is WOW. Mine did ddr3 2100mhz no problem on the gigabyte board I had bought at the time.
