As the title states, selling a perfectly good working PNY 9800 GTX+ 512mb. Bought it to help a friend out, physx,and folding.Just the card by itself works great.

No the power is up top .Only 1 6 pin for power which I find odd since my old 8800 GT required 2 x 6 pin hookups. This card also appears to be tailored for aftermarket cooling since there is 3 x sets of pins for fan headers and a million mounting holes on the board.

I just paid 150 for it 3 days ago, and the guy i got it from paid 230 with tax and shipping about a month ago from newegg, and the cheapest ive found it was $207 .Ill keep it otherwise before i eat 100 dollar loss on it.

Ouch, you made a bad call on that one. Always research before you buy a product. You would see that for $175 you can get a 4890. Even a 4850 is better and you can get one used for $80 or on newegg for $130.

He probably got it from Futureshop, they're rediculous for prices. A 4850 on Futureshop is like $280, on newegg $130.

A HD 4850 512 and a 9800 GTX 512 are about even.

Thats one of many many places ive found it. I didnt know i was supposed to ship for free either. I figured 140 for it plus shipping was fair. I also went to shopbot and pricebat and went from that.

I think part of the problem you're going to run in to here is that you can pick up a GTS250 (same card as this) quite easily for $130 new, or $100 used. There's just been so much re-branding of this card, it exists in so many formats for so many prices.

But either way; good luck with your sale. You're free to charge whatever you want and see if you get a hit. I'd have a hard time swallowing $100 loss soon after purchasing as well. You might want to try RFD and Craigslist too.
