Curious, whats the problem with gigabyte boards? Ive had 2 P55 gigaybyte boards (higher end and lower end) and both boards have been solid overclockers with a good feature set and good pricing. In fact my current board has clocked higher than the asus p7p55d and my old p55m-ud4.

Yeah I've heard a lot of good things about Gigabyte P55 boards, the reason I'm mainly looking for Gigabyte and MSI are because they are well supported with Snow Leopard.. but I think I will be leaning on getting the MSI P55 again..

You only get a defective one. Most of the pro Overclocker use Gigabytes MSI and EVGA we don't see many asus in this game. You could have get a EVGA that die within 3 day make a man of you and stop blaming company for one defective product.

Selling about 50 computer a week between GA and asus ( some time intel ) Actually there is 8 asus and 1 gigabytes on the RMA bench. From p6t to P5qvm-EPU the only gigabytes is a P55-UD3R that was case shorted by customer. I personally kill more asus then gigabytes and never killed a DFI. I think a computer shop RMA report are more reliable compare to your personal use because it have a way more tested unit. I don't know what you are doing with your GA board but one thing is sure is that they are not inferior to most of the top manufacturer. But the topic is going to end here because you know like I do that this can go over and over and never end...This topic is also a BST topic so not the place to do it;) We will probably be cleaned from thread by admin later today.
