You almost can't even give CRTs away these days. I have a Mitsubishi Diamondmax 19" CRT that is going to sit in my closet. I paid almost $500 for it about 4 or so years ago, the picture is really really nice. I can't throw it away or sell it for $5

I wouldn't give it to the Salvation Army because they will sell it.
Best place would be a battered women shelter. I will have to find one in the West Island. I know of one downtown. If I remember correctly...Chez Doris on de Maisonneuve east of Atwater. I don't know if it's still there, that was about 15 years ago when I used to live in that area.
