My System Specs

Default CUDA-capable AGP or PCI card

Not sure if any one has one kicking around, but basically any 8+ series AGP (don't think those even exist) or PCI cards. NOT PCI EXPRESS. I need it to run CoreAVC to playback HD content (hopefully).

I have precisely $49.71CAD on my PayPal account, and I'm not spending a penny more than that. So that's the price range

Pretty sure 8xxx AGP cards don't exist, at least I've never heard of one. I do have one of these:

Buy the EVGA GeForce 9400 GT PCI Video Card - 1GB at TigerDirect.ca

It will run CoreAVC to playback HD content.

Yes I'm aware of those, but they aren't affordable with $49, due to shipping and tax...

Unfortunately not. Wouldn't help to playback 720p/1080p MKVs in any way.

i think he means he needs either an pci or an agp3.0 aka agp8x card.
so latest gen agp.
i think the fastest card were a 7900 nvidia and for ati a 3650 or something around there.
unless im wrong since you posted a faster pci card which i didnt even know existed for a gpu that fast ( so to speak)

Agreed, kinda overkill though. I had a 3850 AGP at one point, didn't perform nearly as well as i expected. CPU bottleneck I guess.

Nor does the HD3xxx or HD4xxx have CUDA support, so I don't know how much they'd help with offloading MKV playback.
