the Elite is not a very good cooler, hell most cheaper air solutions (70$ or so) will out preform it... the thing is pritty cheaply made to, i mean they make it look nice but its not functional on hotter running platforms.

/cough/ Bullshite /cough/

CoolIT Freezone Elite is a VERY good cooler and it will eat any "cheaper air solutions" for lunch and a lot of wc units too.

I think ToXiC is confused with the PURE which isn't a very aggressive cooler and looks alot like the freezone.. I have both the Pure and the Freezone. The freezone will usually get your CPU below ambient (which no air cooler in the world is gonna do). The PURE can be improve by changing the 120x25mm fan with a 120x38mm fan like the scythe kaze ultra or a pan flo...

go look at reviews of it.

CoolIT Freezone Elite - Bjorn3D.com

Whats that bad OC performance?

and i can get identical if not better performance from a 70$ air cooler why waste 400$ on a sludge pump?

Spelled experience wrong =) and if you OC with it, you will burn.

its funny on a side note that a family member of mine knows the owner of CoolIT from collage.

and if you want good user experience go with a TRUE heatsink, honestly everyone loves em, you can push a i7 to 4 like a knife in warm butter.

Spelled college wrong. Listen, if you think the FZ sucks that's fine, but thread crapping will get you teh BAN hammer. So do yourself a favor and finish your heroic advertisement for the TRUE in PM.

Just saying.

I'm not advertising TRUE and I honestly have problems with that heatsink to I'm just saying it works, and since I haven't been through 1000 heatsinks I don't know per say what air ones are best but I do know the stuff iv used is effective and I happen to know the CI elite is poorly designed and is more of a warming tray then a cooler becuase with it's insuficient count of TEC plates it cant keep OC'd liquid down and it's beter to go with a air cooler witch will rarely cost over 100$ rather then a huge bulky warming tray for 400$. But if you like expensive crap that doesn't do much go ahead and buy one, ill be glad to sell you some other bullshit items to. Just stick to plain and simple heatstacks with fans, liquid is not a happy place for the care free user ( I ran a thermatake bigwater that leaked allover my raid aray well I slept, isn't it fun to wake up to 250$ in damaged hard drives and a core that may be burnt out? With air sure the fan can fail but the heatstack will actialy keep the temps until you auto shutoff, solid metal items don't drip and dammage things, they don't leak and the don't have pumps. I'll admit thermaltake makes crap liquid cooling but leaks and problems can arise, ware as with air not much can happen I mean the air isn't going to be sucked out of the room or leak everyware now is it?

With every form of cooling there is risks but in liquid cooling and especiapy pre manufactured that somthing will go wrong.

I'm sorry if theirs any weird typos this is off of my itouch because I had to pull some pc parts to fix somthing.
