Default Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 - SOLD

As the title states, I'm selling a Gigabyte EP45-DQ6 motherboard. It was stored for about 8 months, and I recently took it out for a quick comparison against the ASUS Maximus II GENE. The motherboard is in impeccable condition, you really wouldn't know that it's been used. All the accessories are present and accounted for, most are unopened and none were ever used.

This model's biggest selling point is the ability to run four single-slot cards, which is obviously great for folding. Thanks to a PCI-E bridge chip, this motherboard features two additional PCI-E x4 slots, which are open-ended and can accept any single-slot graphics cards. While folding there is no performance hit from using an x4 slot compared to an x8 or x16 slot since all the crunching is done on the GPU itself and PCI-E bus is not really used much in the process.

Basically, you can build an affordable folding monster using those dirt cheap 9600GSO's or simply any single-slot cards like the 8800GS, 8800GT, 9800GT and even the upcoming GTS 240.

First priority goes to folders, since that it what this motherboard was built for (well...that and as a file server: 10 SATA II ports + 2 eSATA ports + 4 GbE LAN ports).

Price is $120 + actual shipping. About $9 for shipping to Ontario and Quebec, a little bit more for other provinces. Payment via EMT.

Sold to Infiniti!

Hmm, file server seems to be down for the count at the moment.

The images should show up eventually.
