I personally think that this rule should have a bit of flexability for some of the good honest sellers here. If you see someone with like 25+ positive feedback @ 100%, or even a trusted person on the forums (you all know who they are, or who you are ) they should be allowed to have a bit of time to post the pictures without having the thread locked or deleted immediatly. However, at the same time, the rules should apply to everyone equally.

What I guess I am trying to say is that they should stay as is.

I would never accept a paypal payment where I have to incur the fees since they steal 3-4% and even more as the amount climbs. Paypal should be abolished for their ridiculous fees, but they have entrenched themselves into too many peoples minds. I strongly prefer any other payment besides and very much discourage paypal.

long time members with good selling practices dont get any leeway (because their supposed to know the rules),
only new people that usually only have made just enough posts (25) to get access to bst get leeway with the probably most important rule in the rules...?
if you cant take the time to read the rules and put up a proper add then it should be pulled immediately imo.

Yea, I think it's a great idea to say something is for sale for $102 and accept paypal as a method of payment. It would also be a good idea to mention that emt and cash payments get a $2 discount

That still violates the TOS for even offering paypal as a payment source.

I will only accept paypal from people I truly trust and even then I require a non-public discussion about the terms. I prefer to not even post I will accept it at all since that is the only way to not violate the TOS of paypal.

personally i dont sell my stuff if i have to go through paypal
most sellers pump up the price if they gotta accept it anyways and give a disscount to the ones who use emt or cash
i personnaly would give a 5% discount for emt or cash

Can you please point out in the paypal TOS where offering a discount for EMT would violate anything? They can't set restrictions on payment methods they do not control, on a forum they don't own.

This is the only relevant line I found: "You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method."

However, I believe this applies to selling on ebay, where they control the entire transaction (but I can't seem to find it in the current TOS, it used to say no "discouraging the use of paypal").

Bump. Note number 2 folks. No pictures, no thread. Posting that you will post pictures in a few hours or a day is not acceptable.

2. You must provide a picture with a handwritten piece of paper next to the item with your member name or the post will be pulled.
