is the G5 mouse the same size as the mx 518? I am asking because like a fool I gave away my mx518 mouse which fit my hand perfectly now I am using the ocz equalaser mouse ( it is a good mouse) which is allot smaller I use it with my fingers I want a larger mouse also do you still have the weights for it?

I'm not too sure, so if anyone knows correct me if I'm wrong, but I think its the same mouse. The only difference is the "wrap" is different.... but thats about it...

hi,

i have a G5(blue version) and a mx518, these 2 mouse have the exact same button configurations, except on the G5 you can see what your DPI is and 1 extra option for mouse response time (at least thats what i think is)

The mx518 have a smooth surface and the G5 have a rough surface so you can grip more in sweaty gaming

on the mx518 theres a on the fly window switcher button, that cannot be found on the G5 tho.

Unless you game 90% of the time the mx518 is a better choice for web browsing due to its smooth surface and widow switch button
