Unfortunately, my brother inlaw wants the lifetime and don't want to spend money on 6950.

Sorry the thread crap but the 6970 or 6950 can be found for cheaper then that (6970 that exact price brand new) Also, with most GPUs warranties by the time the warranty is up whether it be 3 or 4 years you would usually want a new GPU by then anyways

No way theyre gonna price it less than 68xx series, besides my relative just needed a DX11 card for a single 24" and since his power supply is Corsair 750w I recommended just to get a 5870 used with lifetime instead of 6850 price new. Its not for me, I already got two 5850s.
