Thank you everyone for your help but I'm sorry to say but i won't use it as I'm done with this board, I don't want to take the chance in breaking the pin. I just want to recuperate my loss and on the flip side maybe one of you guys will be able to fix the pin and sell the board off at a profit, it's a karma thing to me I guess.

But anyway evening bump.

It's just a bent pin in the socket? Have you tried to straighten it out?

Edit- sorry- I missed a page

Again, I have but did nothing to help the situation and therefore i don't want to attempt to do it as it may break and then i will then inevitably be forced to ship it off for repairs. By doing this way one of you guys may be up to the task, if you fix it you just got a working P6T mobo for less than $200 cheaper if bought brand new.

That's interesting, as I was just about to buy this motherboard off some guy on Craigslist a while back for an unusually cheap price (he was asking $175) and I think his name was Danny. I wonder if it was the same guy? He ended up selling it before I could pickup.

Isn't that ironic, that's exactly the same guy i bought it from it was back in march. His name was Danny Chan, real scum bag in my books. You know what's also kind of weird was that i asked if he still had a receipt and he said no, i gave him an email saying that it was fine without the receipt but he took it as he wasn't interested. Something was telling me not to buy it, when that happened but i said no. Little bit of irony in that.
