Default LEDs, CCFL
Hi,

I'm looking for LEDs, CCFLs, for some case lighting.

If anyone has blue LEDs (5mm) or knows where I can purchase these in the Windsor/Detroit area I would very much appreciate the information.

It's not exactly in the Windsor area, but I would go with http://www.ledshoppe.com/ if I were you.

They're actually out of Asia, but they ship for free, it's unbelievably fast (I got mine in 4 working days) and there's no duty, as they mark it "gift." Best of all, it's CHEAP! I bought both blues and reds from them, and they seem well manufactured, none of them have died on me yet, and...did I mention they're cheap? <laugh>

Most source stores by circut city sell blue 5mm LEDs in 2 packs for lik $2-3 or so and resistor packs for cheap. As for CCFLs you can check directcanada for those, they have the lowest price ive ever seen on them.

Thanks. ledshoppe.com is exactly what I was looking for.

The mcd is pretty low considering the viewing angle. I'm wondering if 0.14 lumens is enough... I guess I"ll have to see!
