I need a good headset with a microphone anyone know places that have deals or have a set already thats in really good shape they want to get rid of?

Good headset if you like over the ear. They are big and a little goofy but they are only $20 instead of ~$70. I love them

Thats the model I use. They were on NCIX for 69.99$ and were on special at boxing day for 20$! Really good headset, sound is clear and sound crisp. Only problem, it needs AC power... so you can't really use them on a laptop or as headphones for an iPod.

Those trittons are nice, does the AC power only plug into the amp or actually into the headphones themselves? As for the plantronics their pretty low quality ive tested them before and was not impressed at all, the only plantronics I would recommend are the gamecon versions and even then there are much better brands out there for roughly the same price or a tad more. @ $20 though anything thats full ear with a noise canceling mike is worth it lol.

They connect next to the audio cables (see picture) which after runs into the audio controller.

Only place I game =D thats actually a smart place to place the adapter too I think i might pick up a pair next week!

haha I agree, they are good at $20 - i would never spend any more

I was in futureshop a week ago and they had the price on their Gamecon 267s at $19.99 on the price tag, but they where out of stock and when they got stock it went back up to $79.99 =( that would have been a nice deal but I think ill grab a pair of trittons =)

I've got some turtle beach 5.1's been trucking along for 6 months or so now. would sell em for $30 or something.
