I assume you need a triple channel kit; however, if you do not, cmetaphor is selling 2 dual channel kits: Project funding sale! 4870X2 / 8Gb DDR3 / 1Kw PSU!!!!

edit: apparently i'm having troubles linking url's and putting text in them

Ideally I'm looking for triple channel but if i can find a good deal on dual channel then it would be fine and the difference anyway between dual to triple channel isn't all that much anyway i believe.

You don't want to use a dual channel kit at all. Because they require insanely high voltage to get to their rated specs. So using a dual channel kit you'd have to lower their specs substantially in order to run it at a safe voltage (1.65) that is specified by intel as being the max voltage the on chip memory controller can handle.

The Xtune 1866 dual channels work with i7 if you have 3 sticks of it as it runs @ 1.5v for its rated speed. Pretty well the same stuff they sell as their tri channel but 2 sticks instead of 3...

Would you be interested in these at all?

Aeneon 3GB DDR3

I'm in Surrey, and I'd let these go for $40 cash picked up.

You know what i like about HWC, is that everyone is trying to help out one another, I've been getting a whole bunch of these tips on who is selling what. This has to be one of the more nice forms out there.
