i have both and can tell you if thats your max res get the 4850 greats cards and great price free bump nice deal just no need for another highend card

Reason I'm selling the 4850 is I bought a EVGA GTS250 because it's better for folding than the 4850 would be. And I have 22' screens so the 4870 is a bit of a waste. Plus my wife doesn't need a 4870 to play her Sims 2 !!!

lol she can play sim 2 without a hitch.... you can get 10000 fps hahahaha. But on a serious note to BrokenHalo both cards are really good and you won't be disappointed with either.
