Default Need Hardware for.....

....a Thermochill PA 120.3 rad. I picked up the rad from Zoob and thought I had all the hardware I needed but turns out I don't. I need the mounting screws long enough so I can topmount in a HAF with 3x 120x25 fans. If anyone has these kickin' around please PM me. My other option is to pick some up at Home Depot but I'm not sure what size (thread size as well) I need. Any help would be appreciated.

I was looking at buying this

but it will hang down too low (12cm with fans) and would interfere with the mobo.

Thanks gang

I believe you'd need #6 shteet metal screws, by whatever length you need. I just bought some for my 120.2 rad the other day. Maybe some others can chime in here as well.

Yup, #6's will go into Thermochills just fine. Although in my experience, self-tapping screws aren't necessary. Just be very careful on the length, because it's really easily to puncture the radiator if the screw is too long.

Yeah, my rad with 25MM think fans took 1 1/4" screws, basically enough for me to dig into the rad without being too short, but not too much to hit the fins or anything. Just a little tidbit for anyone else thinking of top mounting a rad in an HAF with 25MM thick fans,

Are your fans closed or open flange? I have some screws that work with open, but you might have to file the tips off. Bought a box from CanTire a while back.

#6 3/8" pan head, Robertson

Thanks guys, much appreciated .....I'll pick up some #6 1 1/4" screws tomorrow at CT and go from there. I'm just in the prep stage for painting the HAF and hoping to pre fit everything before painting. I'm going try and put together an actual worklog this time so hopefully I'll have some pics up by the wknd.

Thanks again

Don't forget the wire strippers w/ built-in screw cutters. That way you can buy the longest possible screws and custom cut the sizes for whatever application you need. :)

Most quality wire strippers will have the screw cutting/thread cleaning feature, it's just that most folks don't know it's there, or don't know what it's for. :)

This particular model also has a "live cct" sensor/warning, but I doubt I'd be trusting my life to it..... :)
