T-t-those exist? Wow.
Never seen anything that big in CRT. I could use something like that, but HOLY SHIT I would have to reinforce my floor with an M1 Abrams tank under it.
Bit of a threadcrap I know, but good luck with this beast. Wow...

Looks like one hell of a nice CRT, wow 350lbs its a monster! If I was local I would almost consider it, CRT is hard to beat for quality right now beside top of the line 1080p!

That is pretty funny Shipping charges for you would be about $3 in gas.

The weight of this tv is actually 304 lbs. Please see the specs pdf here: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KV40XBR800diagram.pdf

I used to deliver them back when they first came out and couldn't decide what to marvel at more: the cost or the weight!

I have actually carried one of these up a flight of steps and yes, it is certainly doable! Very nice tv, good luck with the sale!

Oh, and sorry, I don't mean to threadcrap, but that discolouration in the bottom corner of the screen can be fixed very easily with a degaussing coil (electromagnet):

Start with the degaussing coil close to the screen and then back away from it while making wider and wider circles with it: the discolouration will be gone! This tv is not damaged, it just features the largest CRT on the market and with that comes a very large magnetic field. An unshielded speaker could have caused that interference but it is completely reversable! Hope that helps out anyone thinking about buying it!
