I'd say otherwise. My Xenon RROD'd, got it repaired, and now it's RROD'd again

And well I just bought a Jasper (65nm GPU and CPU) so I don't need another 360, just a hard drive...

I believe if you use compressed air every so often your chances of RROD are much less.

Cute kitten, good luck with the sale!

btw does 1.5 work on all newer models?

1.5 is out but not for hitachi. Only sammy/benq/liteons. Benq/sammy's are the easiest ones.

As long as you keep your system clean and well-ventilated, I don't think RROD is an issue. Don't hide it somewhere heat will get trapped, such as in a closed A/V rack or in a TV stand. Keep it out in the open, and clean it once every week or other week with a quick spray of compressed air. The problem with the older 360s is that the frequent heating and cooling was having an adverse effect on its components, and this is particularly an issue for people whose systems became clogged with dust or were kept in boxed conditions. That's why Lian Li went as far as to come out with a case specifically designed for the Xbox 360.

Thank you for pointing that out S_G. For my personal xbox 360 I bought a back cooler back in the day and until this day I have not had any issues.
