Default Want to buy a good Graphics card.

Hey guys,

I`m in need of a vgc to complete my new pc build. The video card I would like must have warranty,or transferable warranty- at least 1 year would be nice. I`m a fan of nvidia,or ati, so I`m not to picky in that department. The vgc must be able to play all games. These are the musts::rtfm:

1. I can only pay with paypal. - I`m confirmed.

2. The vgc must have warranty- no exceptions.

3. The vgc must be in 100% working order, and well taken care of.

4. I can only afford 180.00 including shipping.

5. You must be an honest person. No scammers

It would be nice if I could get one of these:9800 GX2, GTX 260 4870 8800 GTX, 8800 Ultra, 9800 GTX, 9800 GTX+

Too bad you can't do EMT. I have a Powercolour 4850 1gb with zerotherm cooling that is good for gaming. It's comparable to a 9800gtx +. It idles at arounsd 30 never goes higher than 48 when gaming or folding.

Also, if your max is $180 you should probably forget about your first 3 options.

Directcanada has Evga 4850 for 198.00,and Evga Gtx 260 for 269.00. So im not too far off.

they also have 9800gtx + sc for 194.00. Here is the link - Buy Video Cards - Price: $200 - $300 - DirectCanada

For your wanted price you could get a 4850 or a 4870 512MB. I highly doubt you'll find a GTX 260 for under $200 (I was looking for folding). And a 9800 GTX+ is not a 9800 GX2. Everybody is looking for 9800GX2 for folding.

Good luck though

NCIX.com - Buy EVGA E-GEFORCE 9800GT Superclocked 55NM 650MHZ 512MB 1.9GHZ GDDR3 Dual DVI-I HDTV Out Video Card - 512-P3-N977-TR In Canada.

These are cheap as dirt.
And you won't see a whole lot of difference in games with this or the 260 right now.

I think you should hold out, if you can get an EVGA 9800GTX+ superclock on newegg for $190 you should be able to find someone willing to part with one for cheap because they are compelled to buy a GTX 295...

Happens all the time here... :) But the problem is they go in 9 minutes after posting....

your right. I missed out on I think it was 2 that were sold of gtx 260`s. I personaaly like the 9800gtx,but I`m leaning toward the gtx 260 becasue directcanada has one for 260.00.

260 vs 180 is quite a ways off + shipping/taxes...
i'm sorry to break it to you but 180 for a 260 just isn't going to happen...
however, there are plenty 9800's/4850's that you can get for dirt cheap as The Max and low351 pointed out.
nevertheless GL. rip gramps.
