Too bad you haven't OC'ed it, I was looking for a budget 4ghz-capable chip...

why would it matter if he hasnt oc'd it lol? there's no break in period. this thing should get pretty close to 4ghz with good cooling

I haven't "learned" yet to OC a CPU. But I will soon with the help of fellow Canucks.(Q9550 & E8500)

I would be shocked if it did not hit 3.8GHz on air easily. I had a E7200 that did that no sweat and would run 4GHz+ but my mobo wasn't happy with the higher MHz.
