Default [FS] High end LG 24" LCD

This is the one you've all been waiting for. The LG L246wp-bn. This is a M-PVA panel. Do not confuse this with the L246wH-bn, that one is a TN panel and is selling everywhere for cheap. I had this in clone with a 22" Samsung TN panel and it made it look sick. check out some reviews, this is the one to get.

I picked up a Sharp 32" 1080p this weekend, my eyes were getting bad enough that I had to wear my reading glasses on the computer and it was causing too much strain after many hours and f'ing up my vision when I wasn't wearing them. I can view the Sharp comfortably without them. I may even splurge for the 37" and mount it on the wall.

SOLD TO TAKUMI86

It's the one on the right. The sharp has dynamic backlight contrast so I think the whites are whiter and the blacks are deeper. Color wise they both look great.

Even the stand rocks. It swivels, tilts, telescopes up and down and also pivots 90 degrees.

I really thought someone would be all over this. There is more to gaming than 700FPS. I too was happy with my 22" TN panel until I had this one running beside it.

Bump.

Nice !

Tempting but the wife would surely kill me if I bought it.

Or she would let me live but I would have to sleep at your house

hehe. Done, we can co-op Left 4 Dead.

Am I asking too much? Cost me $700 after levy and taxes.

I used to cheap out on the display too, after having this one and the sharp,I'll never do it again. It's the part of a systen we spend most of our time looking at isn't it?

And you just can't find these around. LG pulled a bait and switch with the 'H' model. and m-pva panels are a nice compromise between killer color slow response s-pva and crappy picture fast response TN panels. My step brother has a $2500 eizo panel and he was impressed with this one.

Big difference in color from your sharp and the LCD to the right - There is a visible green tint to the image on the right, where your sharp on the left has the correct white balance and it has nothing to do with dynamic contrast - I do a lot of editing and photo work I would go nuts with a monitor that gives a green tint like that !
