My System Specs

Default DT880's with Sennheiser GSX 1000?

So I recently bought a set of Game One's and a Sennheiser GSX 1000. I love the GSX as it creates an incredible sound stage for gaming. However, the Game One's are a bit too tight for comfort on my head. Also, I've started to decide that I want a bit more punch in my lows than the Sennheiser headsets offer. (I also have a pair of HD598's that have a similar sound.) So I'm currently considering my options and have been recommended by a friend to try the BeyerDynamic DT880 250 Ohm's. However, when checking the recommended impedance level for the GSX 1000, it lists 16-150 Ohms.

Now, I'm not a sound guy at all, but I know there's more to the math than simply the impedance level as to whether an AMP can drive any given headphones. My question is if anyone can tell me if the DT 880 250 Ohm pair will run on the GSX 1000? There's also 32 and 600 Ohm models of the DT 880's, but I know 600 is way too much, and I'm reading online that the 32's aren't as 'clear' as the 250's or 600's. I also looked in to the HD650's, but my reading states they suffer the same lack of punch in the lows that it seems all Sennheisers do. And they are also 250 Ohm headphones anyway.

Hoping I didn't short myself too much on options for headphones... :(

What about the AKG K7XX's from Massdrop? Same price range, 62 Ohm impendance and they get rave reviews. https://www.massdrop.com/buy/akg-k7x...ion-headphones

I have a big head, and those 'floating' head strap styles tend to push down on my head pretty hard when the headset is opened wide enough to put on. Perfect example is the SteelSeries Siberia V2's, which gave me a headache after about 15 minutes.

*EDIT* I thought about the Philips X2's a while back but never eve tried them on because of the floating strap. Although I'm kinda kicking myself now as I can't find them anywhere and all the reviews of their sound seem to paint them as the kind of headphones I'm looking for.
