Default Vista64 and sound cards - what's currently better?

Heyas, again, all.

I've completed purchasing all my newer equipment (that I can at the moment - Q6600, 4GB RAM, Evga 750i ftw mb), but I was curious as to the current state of the soundcard union (so to speak) under x64 Vista installs.

I currently have a PCI Audigy 4 soundcard (I believe it's the SE one), and I'm wondering how it will work under Vista - is it crippled (which will thus need the drivers from Daniel_K) or is it still supported? I have an Altec Lansing 5.1 speaker setup. and so am curious if I should just look out for another card (the Asus PCI-E card comes to mind, the one that costs approx $90).

Suggestions?

Works fine using these drivers:
SB Audigy series Vista Support Pack v2.15.0004EQ with Equalizer (04/25/2008) - Windows Vista - Creative Labs

If your talking about newer cards, The Prelude seems to work great in X64 along with the Xonar series. According to all the info I have read.
