^ Yup, although some cans can be driven fine without an amp/ sound thy would definately benefit from one. Ultrasone is also a good brand, if you dont mind second hand headphones you can look on the headfi buysell section, many are in immaculate condition. Shure srh840's are also good and on sale on this site Deal of the Day

why dont you try to use "sennheiser HD 360" thats basic and work well on me. now I got the new item from the same brand. quite pricey though'

Hey again. I'm back lol. In the past hour or so I have been looking at the dt770 250ohm since they are closed and have very good reviews. Was wondering what's the difference between the 250ohm and 80ohm? I'm not worried about powering them as I'll do what it takes to get the best sound coming from them. Thanks

I like the open 360 and 700 use them both, also have the m50's and 350's, 360 use for gaming, m50 and 700 for music. 360 is connected too a phoebus sound card , rest are on external setups, creative and fiio dac/amps. Haven't tryed the 770's, maybe next time will buy some bers.

Like them all, so depends on your needs.
